Our Fishing Trips

We offer half day fishing trips which are approximately 4 hours long and full day fishing trips which are approximately 8 hours long.

This enables our guests to have a versatile, enjoyable all round experience on Loch Ness. Your highly experienced guide, Stuart will assess the conditions and use his knowledge of the Loch to ensure you receive the optimum fishing experience with interesting facts and stories thrown in along the way!

Our fishing trips are seasonal and run from 15th January - 30th September

We are able to take up to four passengers on board, with two fishing at any one time.  The boat will be reserved solely for your use whether you are fishing alone or with friends.

Our bespoke fishing trips get under way ten miles from the village of Drumnadrochit and just over four miles from Inverness, both of which are great bases for sightseeing the Highlands. Your trip begins with a pickup from Loch Ness Hub, followed by a scenic drive to the departure point. After onshore tuition on fishing techniques, you’ll have the chance to decide what you’d like to fish for before boarding the boat. Safety is our priority, so you’ll receive a full safety briefing and life jackets before setting off in search of the perfect fishing spot. Trips last approximately four/ eight hours - this allows ample time for some serious fishing along with viewing the stunning Highland scenery.

As you cast your line, you’ll be fishing alongside the iconic Urquhart Castle, surrounded by the breath-taking beauty of Loch Ness. Stuart will share local tips, expert fishing advice, and fascinating stories about the Loch’s history and legends. Stay warm with cosy blankets and light refreshments on board as you take in the stunning views and enjoy a truly authentic Highland fishing experience. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-time fisher, this trip promises an exciting and memorable day on the water.

As this is the Highlands and the weather is subject to change, please ensure you are suitably dressed in sturdy shoes and have access to a warm jacket and wet weather gear!

The price includes the use of all equipment including lifejackets, rods, bait and tackle, along with the required licensing.

Picnics and refreshments are available by prior arrangement – please ask for details when you contact us.

We do our best to be versatile and meet with client’s requirements.  Please feel free to discuss these with us on our enquiry form. We want to make your trip as enjoyable as possible.
